The Knot, April 2026, about Maryland’s DJ

We loved everything about Brian our DJ and our sax player as well! They kept the dance floor moving all night! We had some last minute timeline changes with our dances and toasts due to a delay with the buses and Brian was super flexible, no one even knew things weren’t as originally “planned”! Thanks so much for a great experience!!

Google, August 2026, about Epic Events

DJ-I.O. did an outstanding job at the City of College Park, National Night Out!!! He arrived during our set up period, he got prepared for the event, and he got the crowd energized. His music selection was great, and he worked with our team when presentations were being made. He did a very professional job and had a great attitude even with being outside in the heat.

Notes on the list

Who runs this guide? Solender Events, a Maryland events company. It also owns Maryland’s DJ and Epic Events, the two entertainment companies marked Recommended, and we say so wherever they appear.

How are the other vendors chosen? From public Google Business Profiles: Virginia wedding businesses with strong ratings and a meaningful number of reviews. The ratings shown are Google’s, as of October 2026.

Did anyone pay to be listed? No. No business paid for a listing, a position or a rating.

What do the numbers mean? The first number is the average Google rating, the second is how many Google reviews it is based on. For the two Recommended companies it is the reviews we collected from The Knot, WeddingWire and Google.

Are the reviews edited? No. Every review on the Recommended pages is copied word for word, with the reviewer’s name, source and date.

Why these regions? Virginia weddings tend to cluster where the vineyards and historic houses are: Loudoun and the north, Charlottesville and the Blue Ridge, Richmond, and the coast.

Can I suggest a vendor? Yes. Email info@solenderevents.com with the name and its Google listing. Owners can request corrections the same way.

Is the list complete? No list is. It is a short pour of well reviewed businesses, not every vendor in the state. Always ask a vendor for recent references.
